Back
in 2013 when 432 Park Avenue was only 10 stories tall, its prized $95 million
penthouse went into contract. Working off of a substantiated hunch, TRD reports
that the buyer is probably Saudi Arabian retail and real estate titan Fawaz Al
Hokair. The 8,255-square-foot penthouse, which when it closes will be the
second priciest apartment to sell in the city only after One57's $100.5 million
condo, has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and covers a full floor of the
building. Being that 432 Park Avenue is the tallest residential building in the
hemisphere and all, the penthouse at the tippy top of the building is the
highest residence in New York City. It entered contract with a price per square
foot north of $11,300
And
now, for those who can afford the $95 million penthouse (units start at $7
million, currently available units start at $16.95 million), what awaits is a
remarkable view 1,271 feet up in the sky. If $95 million is a bit out of your
price range, the tower’s website offers virtual views, starting at 558 feet
